Meet Dr. Ghanshyam Sharma a highly qualified man with vast experience and dedication in the field of Yoga Therapy.

Dr Ghanshyam Sharma specialises the applied aspect of Yoga and conducts Yoga Therapy Workshops nationally and internationally for Yoga Teachers, patients and medical practitioners. He is a unique combination of Yoga, Ayurveda and Modern medicine and hence his teachings are based on principles of Yoga, application of Yoga Therapy, complements from Ayurveda and modern principals of anatomy and physiology.

Qualified from the University of Bombay as a post-graduate Doctor in ‘Indian System of Medicine’ (M.D.- Ayu.), he also pursued his ‘Diploma in Yoga Therapy’ (D.Y.T.) from Kaivalyadhama Yogic Health Center, Bombay. Kaivalyadhma is one of the oldest and largest yoga therapy institutes in the world

where Yoga-Therapy is used in conjunction with modern medicine to treat various functional and psychosomatic disorders. He is working as Medical Yoga consultant for Kaivalyadhama for the last 8 years. He is also involved in the center’s certificate and diploma courses as well as in their various therapy workshops.

Dr Ghanshyam Sharma is also associated with Yoga Therapy Center (London) of Yoga Biomedical Trust, as Hon. Yoga Therapy Advisor.

The Yoga Biomedical Trust (YBT) is a charitable organisation dedicated to the field of Yoga Research and development of Yoga Therapy. YTC trains qualified Yoga Teachers into their Yoga Therapy Diploma Course. Their training involves anatomy, physiology, pathology, and the application of Yoga Therapy to different medical conditions. YBT is located in the Royal Homeopathic Hospital, 60 Great Ormond Street, London.
